Toxicology is the study of adverse effects of chemicalsubstances on living things and their environment. Toxicology can alsobe termed as a tool for diagnosing and treating toxins. It is the branch of science based on nature. These adverse reactions mayoccur at various levels within the body such as an organ, a type of cell, or aspecific biochemical. The basic toxicology principle is a dose response. Toxicology dose depends on the concentration and durationof the chemicals. Toxins are specific proteins produced by living organisms. The factors that determine the adverse effects of toxicology are intrinsic toxicity, dose, exposureconditions, the response of host etc.
