DR. ALAIN L. FYMAT, PhD, PhD is a medical-physical scientist and an educator. He is the current President/CEO and Professor at the International Institute of Medicine & Science with a previous appointment as EVP/COO and Professor at the Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine, California, U.S.A. He was formerly Professor of Radiology, Radiological Sciences, Radiation Oncology, Critical Care Medicine and Physics at several U.S. and European Universities. Earlier, he was Deputy Director (Western Region) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Office of Research Oversight). At the Loma Linda Veterans Affairs Medical Center, he was Scientific Director of Radiology, Director of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center and, for a time, Acting Chair of Radiology. Previously, he was also Director of the Division of Biomedical and Biobehavioral Research at the University of California at Los Angeles/Drew University of Medicine and Science. He is also Health Advisor to the American Heart & Stroke Association, Coachella Valley Division, California. He is a frequent Keynote Speaker and International Organizing Committee member at several international scientific conferences. He has lectured extensively in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Africa. He has published ~ 425 scholarly scientific publications and books. He is also Editor-in-Chief, Honorable Editor or Editor of 54 scientific Journals. Dr. Fymat is a Board member of several institutions, a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and a reviewer for the prestigious UNESCO Newton Prize, United Kingdom National Commission for UNESCO. His current research interests are focused on neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer, Parkinson, epilepsy, dementias and others), oncology, molecular/precision/personalized medicine, and nanomedicine and nanobiotechnology.

Dr. Fymat’s current research interests lie at the interface between science and medicine, particularly cancer/oncology, molecular/personal/precision medicine, nanomedicine, human genetics/ epigenetics/ ecogenetics, neurodegenerative diseases, and pharmacogenomics. His most recent publications deal with nanotechnology and cancer, nanochemotherapy, nanoneurology, natural and synthetic immunotherapy, drug delivery across the brain protective barriers, and neurodegenerative disorders (epilepsy, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases).

László Forró obtained his B.S. at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest and M.S. at Université Paris XI in physics. He received his PhD at the University of Zagreb in 1985. He is a full professor at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, where he holds the chair of Nanostructures and Novel Electronic Materials. In his Laboratory of Physics of Complex Matter (http://lpmc.epfl.ch/), he is leading an interdisciplinary research activity. Within the School and beyond he tries to create an experiment-driven partnership with a scientific focus on the correlated matter, the design of new nanostructured materials and biological physics. Alexander Seifalian, Professor of Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine worked at the Royal Free Hospital and University College London for over 26 years, during this time he spent a year at Harvard Medical School looking at caused of cardiovascular diseases and a year at Johns Hopkins Medical School looking at the treatment of liver. He published more than 647 peer-reviewed research papers and registered 14 UK and International patents. On editorial boards of 41 journals. He is currently CEO of NanoRegMed Ltd, working on the commercialisation of his research. During his career, Prof Seifalian has led and managed many large projects with successful outcomes in terms of commercialisation and translation to patients. In 2007 he was awarded the top prize in the field for the development of nanomaterials and technologies for cardiovascular implants by Medical Future Innovation, and in 2009 he received a Business Innovation Award from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI). He was the European Life Science Awards’ Winner of Most Innovative New Product 2012 for the “synthetic trachea”. Prof Seifalian won the Nanosmat Prize in 2013 and in 2016 he received the Distinguish Research Award in recognition of his outstanding work in regenerative medicine from Heals Healthy Life Extension Society. His achievements include the development of the world first synthetic trachea, lacrimal drainage conduit, and vascular bypass graft using nanocomposite materials, bioactive molecules and stem cell technology. He has over 15,000 media report from his achievement; include BBC, ITV, WSJ, CNN, and many more. Currently, he is working on the development and commercialisation of human organs using graphene-based nanocomposite materials and stem cells technology. He has commercialised a novel functionalised graphene oxide for medical and other industrial applications. He also commercialised new biodegradable nanocomposite materials for medical and other industrial applications. He is British citizen and completed his school in UK (concord college) and his scientific training at London University.

Dr. Hermis Iatrou is presently working as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, University of Athens, Athens, Greece. He also works as a Director of the Industrial Laboratory of the Chemistry Department at the University of Athens, Greece since 2015. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Athens, Greece. He also completed his first post-doctoral fellowship at the “Institute of Festo-cooperative Research Center Juelich, Germany (1993-1995) and second Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA (1997-1998). He was one of the discoverers who synthesized Star Polymers, in which chemically different polymeric chains emanated from the same central point. Then he traveled to Canada, where he joined to Prof. John Giesy group at toxicology center, Saskatchewan University for his PhD project from 2012-2015. So, he has a great experience in beekeeping, pesticides toxicology, molecular techniques and ecological risk assessment of pesticides on bees. Moreover, his ongoing research is directed toward the adverse effects of agrochemicals and heavy metals nanoparticles on honey bee health. He has published more than 15 peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr Al Naggar has been awarded the scientific publication award several times from Tanta University, Egypt. Currently, he serves as a reviewer for more than 15 peer-reviewed journals and member in editorial board of several journals. On 1st of July 2018, he will join University of California at Riverside for six months as a postdoc fellow so during the meeting he will be at USA. Also, he recently have been awarded the German Alexander von humboldt postdoc fellowship to start by 1st of January 2019.

Terms and Conditions

Responsibility:

Delegates are personally responsible for their belongings at the venue. The Organizers will not be held responsible for any stolen or missing items belonging to Delegates, Speakers or Attendees; due to any reason whatsoever.

 

Insurance:

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind.


Transportation:

Please note that any (or) all transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant.


Press/Media:

Press permission must be obtained from Allied academies Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The Allied academies are a non-profit organization. This conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.


Requesting an Invitation Letter:

For security purposes, letter of invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference. Once your registration is complete, please contact environmentaltoxicocongress@gmail.com to request a personalized letter of invitation.

Regarding refunds, all bank charges will be for the registrant's account.

 

Cancellation, Postponement and Transfer of Registration:

All cancellations or modifications of registration must be made in writing to Program Manager. (environmentaltoxicocongress@gmail.com or finance@alliedacademies.com).

Cancellation Policy:

If Allied academies cancel this event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied academies conferences event which must occur within one year from the date of cancellation.

Postponement:

If Allied academies postpones an event for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on rescheduled dates, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied academies conferences event which must occur within one year from the date of postponement.

Transfer of registration:

All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organization if a registered person is unable to attend the event. Transfers must be made by the registered person in writing to Program Manager. Details must be included with the full name of replacement person, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied academies if a person is unable to attend one of the conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if it is intimated within 14 days of respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information:

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues cannot come under the consideration of cancellation policy of Allied academies, including the inability to obtain a visa.

Refund Policy:

If the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund arrangements apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overheads, we had to keep Refund Policy is as following slabs-

Before 60 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund less $100 Service Fee

Within 60-30 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund

Within 30 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund

E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:

Accommodation Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies, and they generally apply when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. Please contact us as soon as possible, if you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation. Allied academies will advise the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to cancelling or amending your booking, to ensure you are fully aware of any non-refundable deposits.
